Any <strong>coffee</strong> exporter shall:<br />
1) process export <strong>coffee</strong> in accordance with the country’s quality standard, for export;<br />
2) not exceeding 24 hours after the c<strong>on</strong>clusi<strong>on</strong> of a c<strong>on</strong>tract for sale of <strong>coffee</strong>, have<br />
the c<strong>on</strong>tract and the correct sale price registered at the Nati<strong>on</strong>al Bank of Ethiopia,<br />
and notify the same to the Ministry and other c<strong>on</strong>cerned authorities within 15 days;<br />
3) export <strong>coffee</strong> collected from his own farm or purchased from aucti<strong>on</strong> centers or the<br />
Ethiopia Commodity Exchange before the next harvest;<br />
4) except in <str<strong>on</strong>g>case</str<strong>on</strong>g>s of mixing processes registered under special permissi<strong>on</strong> of the<br />
Ministry, export <strong>coffee</strong>, without mixing different types and maintaining the name<br />
of place of origin;<br />
5) sell <strong>coffee</strong> by product leftover from export <strong>coffee</strong> in the aucti<strong>on</strong> centers or the<br />
Ethiopia Commodity Exchange;<br />
6) without prejudice to the extensi<strong>on</strong> of a c<strong>on</strong>tract permitted by the Nati<strong>on</strong>al Bank of<br />
Ethiopia up<strong>on</strong> showing of sufficient reas<strong>on</strong>s, perform the c<strong>on</strong>tract he c<strong>on</strong>cludes<br />
with the buyers <strong>on</strong> the due date;<br />
7) not resubmit for sale to aucti<strong>on</strong> centers or to the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange<br />
<strong>on</strong>ce he purchased the export <strong>coffee</strong> from the aucti<strong>on</strong> center or from the Ethiopia<br />
Commodity Exchange and graded by the <strong>coffee</strong> quality liquoring and inspecti<strong>on</strong><br />
center.<br />
9. Obligati<strong>on</strong>s for Domestic C<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> <strong>Coffe</strong>e Wholesalers<br />
Any domestic c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> <strong>coffee</strong> wholesaler shall:<br />
1) <strong>on</strong>ly purchase domestic c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> <strong>coffee</strong> from aucti<strong>on</strong> centers or the Ethiopia<br />
Commodity Exchange;<br />
2) not purchase, sell or transport export <strong>coffee</strong>;<br />
3) not sell domestic c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> <strong>coffee</strong> in <strong>coffee</strong> producing areas unless it is<br />
permitted by the c<strong>on</strong>cerned body;<br />
4) transport and sell domestic c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> <strong>coffee</strong> purchased from aucti<strong>on</strong> centers or<br />
the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange to markets designated for the wholesaler, after<br />
having the same sealed by the appropriate executive body and obtaining a letter of<br />
release;<br />
10. Obligati<strong>on</strong>s of <strong>Coffe</strong>e Roasters<br />
Any pers<strong>on</strong> involved in the roasting and grinding of <strong>coffee</strong> for selling shall:
