Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County · Yearbook Collection TH< C"fy June '28 Class History From far and wide, from hither and yon, came the members of the class of June, 1918-to-be, on a September morn of 1914. Some disappeared into the Annexes,* others hibernated in the Main Building. Not until our respective Junior years did we all collide in the Main Building. Soon after this collision we acquired Mr. Remington and Miss VanNess as class advisors. Inspired thus, we proceeded to elect class officers, an Old Spanish Custom in the school. Herb Heesch, emerged president; Marge Muncc, vice-president; Helen Wilson, secretary and George Bantleon, treasurer. We rambled through the year without calamity. Shortly after we had become the heterogeneous conglomeration** of venerable seniors that we are, we again elected class officers. When the dust or battle had cleared Herb Heesch was still president, and George Bantleon still Infernal Revenue Collector, while Jim Sebaste had become vice-president and Doris Wilson secretary. Determined to make our final year the most auspicious, we indulged in a harrowing, hugely successful party, the Senior Ghost Train, of October 50th. Followed soon the Senior Farce, ' 'Seventeen.'' Two months later came, "You Never Can Tell," our Senior Play. On May 18th we romped through the final Senior party, one blowout that was far from being a flat tire. If the treasury is not a liability after the Orient comes out, we shall cap the year by an excursion to Cobourg, on Senior Day, in June.
