free chapel of [St Mary] Hastings (Hastingges),
Chichester (Cicestr') dioc. Ind.: chapter of
Lichfield or their commissary, the deanery being
vacant.
1142 (Undated. ] Institution of John de, Norton,
chaplain, to vac. church of Brinklow (Brynkelowe)
by reason of an exchange with the church of East
Lexham (Estlexham), Norwich (Norwycen') dioc., by
an undertaking made with M. Thomas de Foxton,
official of Norwich. [... ]2 He swore obedience to
