subdiaconate and diaconate at <strong>the</strong> next decreed<br />

terms, wishing within one year from <strong>the</strong> time <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong>fice was committed <strong>to</strong> him <strong>to</strong> be ordained a<br />

priest after receiving <strong>the</strong> diaconate according <strong>to</strong><br />

canon law, but he was unable <strong>to</strong> rise <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

priestly order because <strong>of</strong> poor health. Having<br />

examined <strong>the</strong> impediment <strong>by</strong> <strong>the</strong> testimony <strong>of</strong><br />

faithful men [without] exception, <strong>the</strong> bp. excuses<br />

<strong>the</strong> rec<strong>to</strong>r <strong>to</strong> have been bound <strong>by</strong> a just and<br />

reasonable cause, declaring that he should be<br />

ordained a priest at <strong>the</strong> next holy orders <strong>to</strong> be<br />

celebrated.<br />

fecerit rite sicut debuit promoveri, volens infra<br />

annum a tempore sibi commissi regiminis secundum<br />

formam canonis in presbiterum ordinari post<br />
