Boniface VIII. He is enjoined <strong>to</strong> distribute 40s.<br />

between <strong>the</strong> poor <strong>of</strong> his parish before <strong>the</strong> feast <strong>of</strong><br />

Easter next (11 April] and M. Richard de<br />

716 26 January 1311, Lichfield. Institution <strong>of</strong><br />

Thomas, son <strong>of</strong> Adam de Brym<strong>to</strong>n, knight, acolyte,<br />

<strong>to</strong> church <strong>of</strong> Ea<strong>to</strong>n (Ey<strong>to</strong>n), vac. <strong>by</strong> resig. <strong>of</strong> Hugh<br />

de Hot<strong>to</strong>t on 27 November 1310; patrons, abbess and<br />

nuns <strong>of</strong> Polesworth (Pollesworth). Thomas pledged<br />

before <strong>the</strong> bp., <strong>to</strong>uching <strong>the</strong> holy gospels, that he<br />

would pay an annual pension <strong>of</strong> 20 marks <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

aforesaid religious. Ind.: archd. Licence2 <strong>to</strong><br />

study for one year within <strong>the</strong> terms <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
