premisses.
1. This letter should have been entered in a Derby
archdeaconry section of the register. The date vi
idus Novembris anno Domini supradicto, cannot
refer to the year 1315 as Langton was at
Eccleshall on 7 November 1315, no. 769, and could
not have travelled to Penwortham, Lancs., in one
day.
