Time, Date And Location: The Oklahoma <strong>Sooner</strong> <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Sale will be<br />
held on Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m. at the Stephens County<br />
Fairgrounds, Duncan, Oklahoma. Directions: Take Hwy. 81 south<br />
through Duncan to the south end of town; half block east to fairgrounds.<br />
Mailed Bids: Mailed or telephoned bids will be handled in a most confidential<br />
manner. If you are unable to attend the sale personally, simply<br />
contact a representative of the sale far enough in advance prior to sale<br />
day. They will be able to assist you at ringside on sale day.<br />
Delivery: Every effort will be made by the sellers to assist you in the<br />
delivery of your purchases should you need assistance. This delivery<br />
will be made to central points at the most economical cost possible.<br />
Update On Breeding And Calving Information: There will be added<br />
information available at the sale site that will list any additions to the<br />
catalog information as to new calves born and new breeding information<br />
that will occur after the printing of this catalog.<br />
Terms And Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash. Settlement is to be<br />
made with the clerk immediately following the sale and before cattle are<br />
removed from the premises.<br />
Billed Accounts: All billed accounts are due within 10 days following<br />
the date of the sale. At 10 days, a two percent service charge will be<br />
added to the unpaid balance and an additional two percent will be added<br />
every 30 days thereafter unless previous arrangements have been made<br />
with the owners or sale manager.<br />
Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but<br />
will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time. Neither<br />
the owners, employees, auctioneer, sale management or other affiliated<br />
personnel can be responsible for any accidents, but they will make<br />
every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending.<br />
Health: Each animal will be represented by a state approved health certificate<br />
for interstate shipment. Buyers should make themselves aware<br />
of the health requirements for their respective states.<br />
Breeding Guarantee: The Standard Breeding Guarantee as endorsed by<br />
the American <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Association will be followed.<br />
American <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Association Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless an<br />
animal is listed on the American <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Association “genetic defect<br />
status list”, the American <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Association makes no representation<br />
of any kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.<br />
Insurance will be available for your purchases from the sale clerk.<br />
Announcements made from the auction block take precedence over all<br />
