Welcome to the 2010 High Standards Female Sale.
We work towards this sale all year and strive to make each
sale stronger than ever. I told a guy the other day I thought this
was the best set yet of cattle that we have ever offered into this
event. We feel so strongly in the depth of quality being offered
that for the first time ever we will reserve the right to purchase
a flush on each of the females being offered in this sale. We
will reserve the right to purchase a flush at $3,000, with work
to be done at buyer’s convenience and seller’s expense.
From our first annual sale to now the purpose of this
sale was to offer to market our best cattle to our valued customers
and friends. We do work hard at it, but as you can see
so do our customers. We want to win shows as bad as anyone
but our main goal is to provide good, sound functional cattle
that generate revenue for their buyers.
This offering is deep in quality from the opens to the
breds. The opens come from our donor battery that we think is
one of the top in the country with a few we have found around
the country. The bred heifers we have to offer this year may
be the best set we have compiled to date. This will be one of
the most diverse sets to sell this fall sale season from ¾ to ¼
blood Simmentals to the Angus and Commercials, I guarantee
you’ll find one you like on November 6 th .
It is no secret that a good operation is only as good
as its help, and we have good help that is dedicated to winning
and dedicated to our customers. No matter if you buy the
high seller or the cheapest one we are here to help you. When
you buy here you are buying in on the entire program. We are
willing to help you with selecting, breeding, and management
decisions, as well as help you in marketing your cattle.
We would like to thank our crew members Nick
Hulsmeyer, Kyle Schmerge, and Andy Hiland. They have
done a great job in helping us put together this years offering
and helping our customers win in the 2009 - 2010 show seasons.
Feel free to come early to view the sale cattle and
enjoy the surroundings. If you have any questions please feel
free to contact us. Good luck to each of you with your purchases
and thank you for your interest in our offering.
Thank you for your interest,
were after. Both of these heifers have plenty of volume and capacity with power and show ring presence to back it up.
89X is out of SCC Proven Queen 684, one
of the best Angus cows we have ever owned. We were
never able to get a picture of Proven Queen because
she was a little “fast” but Dad didn’t give up on her
and I’m glad he didn’t. We had big plans for her in our
Angus and Simm-Angus breeding programs and it sure
worked well. 89X is a very eye appealing and powerful
heifer with lots of style. This one will earn her fair share
of bone and foot size and maternal genetics galore! This
heifer’s mother is Miss Knockout, a former American
her you will say she is to small and you are right if you
are talking about the showring. With this one you have
to think donor potential. We are retaining half interest
in this one as we feel she is a breeding piece the Simmental
