Contributors Liberty Aldrich is the Director of Domestic Violence and Family Court Programs at the Center for Court Innovation, which provides technical assistance and training to court administrators and judges on domestic violence issues in New York State and nationally. Lori L. Cohen is a volunteer attorney at the Immigration Intervention Project at the Center for Battered Women’s Legal Services at Sanctuary for Families, the largest domestic violence service provider in New York State. Prior to volunteering at Sanctuary for Families, Ms. Cohen taught Immigration Law at the University of Michigan Law School and served as the Director for the Office of Immigration Legal Services at the Archdiocese of Detroit. Elizabeth Cronin is the Director of Legal Affairs for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is also an adjunct professor in the Criminal Justice and Sociology Department at Pace University, where she teaches domestic violence and child abuse, ethics and criminal justice. She was a Deputy Bureau Chief of the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Bureau at the Westchester District Attorneys’ Office, from 1986 until she left for the Court of Appeals in 2000. Mary Rothwell Davis, an attorney in New York City, is currently developing, with the National Judicial Education Program of Legal Momentum, a web-based distance-learning program for judges on Intimate Partner Sexual Abuse. She also serves as appellate counsel to Sanctuary for Families’ Center for Battered Women’s Legal Services. She was formerly the court attorney for the State’s first Integrated Domestic Violence Court in Bronx County and served as law clerk to Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye. Julie A. Domonkos is a former Executive Director of My Sisters’ Place, Westchester County’s domestic violence services and advocacy organization. She was a co-founder of the Lawyers Committee Against Domestic Violence and served as its co-chair for over ten years. Lisa Fischel-Wolovick is currently in private practice in New York City with an emphasis on matrimonial and family law. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at Fordham Graduate School of Social Service. Jill Laurie Goodman is Counsel to the New York State Judicial Committee on Women in the Courts and co-chair of the Lawyers Committee Against Domestic Violence.
