The first noticeable difference between women planning a home and those<br />

planning a hospital birth in the study is the frequency with which women planning<br />

a hospital birth mention that they were not informed about home birth. Most<br />

women planning a hospital birth (90%) said home birth was not mentioned to<br />

them, they therefore assumed they were going to go to hospital. The following<br />
