Isn’t it a great feeling to play a super round of golf and pick up the day’s event and the trophy that goes with it? Isn’t that what it’s all about? And did you know that here at Shepparton, you play for trophies that are the equal of those provided at any other club? That’s not bad. And want to know something else? Most of these trophies are provided by sponsors. The very same people you play golf with. Not big corporations, just the average small business person who knows how hard it is but does it because they love the Club and want to help. So, next time you win a trophy, spare a thought for the person who may have donated the trophy. Take the time to ring the sponsor, drop in or even write. But please, make some contact and thank them for their trophy. That’s the sporting thing to do, isn’t it? Even better, take note of all our many sponsors and next time you need to buy something or require some service or other, think of our sponsors and support them. Sponsors, who needs them?
