E = Endangered Taxa in danger of extinction and whose survival is unlikely if
the causal factors continue operating.

V = Vulnerable Taxa believed likely to move into endangered category in the
near future if causal factors continue operating.
R = Rare Taxa with small populations in South Australia that are not at
present endangered or vulnerable, but are at risk.
C = Common The category of greatest abundance; relatively numerous
generally, locally and/or seasonally. (Local abundance applies
to species with restricted distribution).
