1.1. Corporate Services Admin<strong>is</strong>trative Clerk<br />

Requirements, Skills <strong>and</strong> Experience<br />

3 year experience in office admin<strong>is</strong>tration<br />

minutes recording or relevant qualification<br />

Neat, organ<strong>is</strong>ed <strong>and</strong> systematic.<br />

Reception<strong>is</strong>t experience would be an added advantage.<br />

Must be able to converse in 2 official languages<br />

Key areas of responsibilities:<br />

Provide support in a variety of capabilities,<br />

which may include: copy services;<br />

office supplies, equipment, <strong>and</strong> inventory,<br />

Admin<strong>is</strong>trative ass<strong>is</strong>tance etc.<br />

Ensure all documentations are properly filed <strong>for</strong> Corporate Service Department.<br />

Taking minutes of council committee meetings<br />

Sorting of mails in the absence of the reception<strong>is</strong>t.<br />

H<strong>and</strong>le <strong>and</strong> store mail securely to maintain the confidentiality of correspondence.<br />

Transport mail between organization facilities.<br />

Respond to inquiries from within the organization about mail delivery times <strong>and</strong> schedule.<br />

Ass<strong>is</strong>t in stationeries requ<strong>is</strong>ition In charge of the maintenance of office up keeping <strong>and</strong><br />

cleanliness, including meeting rooms <strong>and</strong> washrooms.<br />

Support Corporate Services in some aspects of office admin<strong>is</strong>tration including, but not limited<br />

to, maintenance, leasing, insurance, office equipment <strong>and</strong> purchasing of supplies.<br />

Per<strong>for</strong>m any other duties as assigned from time to time.


1.2. Communications Officer<br />

Requirements, Skills <strong>and</strong> Experience<br />

A tertiary qualification in Communications or equivalent qualification<br />

3 years experience in Communications<br />

Good presentation skills, Excellent written <strong>and</strong> verbal communication skills<br />

Good Knowledge of MS Office Computer Skills<br />

Good Interpersonal Relations <strong>and</strong> organizational skills, ability to coordinate communication<br />

activities<br />

Prepared to travel extensively <strong>and</strong> to work outside normal hours <strong>and</strong> during weekends<br />

Key areas of responsibilities<br />

Responsible <strong>for</strong> the <strong>SACE</strong> Internal Communication<br />

Coordinate the production of the <strong>SACE</strong> Internal Newsletter<br />

Updates <strong>and</strong> monitor the Website<br />

Communicate through sms message to educators<br />

Co-ordinate all <strong>SACE</strong> Internal event<br />

To provide admin<strong>is</strong>trative support to the Strategy <strong>and</strong> Stakeholder Relation Manager<br />

Per<strong>for</strong>m any duty that may be assigned by the Strategy <strong>and</strong> Stakeholder Relation Manager <strong>and</strong><br />

the ass<strong>is</strong>tant Managers<br />

1.2. Reg<strong>is</strong>tration Clerk<br />

Requirements, Skills <strong>and</strong> Experience<br />

Practical Knowledge of the computerized reg<strong>is</strong>tration systems<br />

Ability to speak two or three South African language<br />

Interpersonal relation<br />

Good communication skills verbal <strong>and</strong> writing<br />

Relevant experience<br />

Post matric<br />

Key areas of responsibilities<br />

Processes application <strong>for</strong>ms received<br />

Separates valid from invalid <strong>for</strong>ms<br />

Separates valid <strong>for</strong>ms into full prov<strong>is</strong>ional reg<strong>is</strong>tration<br />

Separates <strong>for</strong>ms that do not fulfill reg<strong>is</strong>tration requirements<br />

H<strong>and</strong>les correspondence, in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>and</strong> reports related to reg<strong>is</strong>tration of educators<br />

Respond to incoming mail- posted <strong>and</strong> e-mail<br />

Maintenance of the Principles of Batho-Pele<br />

Ass<strong>is</strong>t the Ass<strong>is</strong>tant Reg<strong>is</strong>tration Manager with reports (on own work)<br />
