remove it. Because <strong>the</strong> work was sitespecific,<br />

Serra argued in court that "To<br />

remove <strong>the</strong> work is to destroy it.” A jury<br />

decided 4 against 1 to have <strong>the</strong> work<br />

removed. The work was finally removed over<br />

night in March 198<strong>9.</strong><br />
