Bathing in cold and clean water of a river,
lake, pond or well is considered to be pious. After
taking bath, one long piece of cloth should be
worn to cover the lower part of the body, and
another worn on the upper part of the body. In
this manner piece of cloth two pieces of clothes
should be worn whilst performing the Pooja. Thus
performing Pooja to God with only one piece of
cloth on the person is recommended only for devils
and deemed inappropriate for devout human
beings.
