are those who wear double stranded rosary of<br />
Tulasi around their neck, not only during<br />
worship(Pooja) or meditation(Dhyaan), sandhya<br />
vandan, i.e, prayers offered during down or desk<br />
but also during daily chores.<br />

(Poojãkãle tathã dyãne sanshyãdau nityakarmñi.<br />
Tulsim dadhte kanthe te bhakãt harivllabhãh.)<br />
However It is said in the Padma Puranam :-<br />
|¢¢ï…Ýï ࢲÝï ñ± }¢H}¢ê~¢ç±„…üÝï J<br />
¼éH„è {¢²ü¼ï ï¼ì ç±c‡¢éÎí¢ïãè „ ©Ó²¼ïJJ<br />
(Bhojane shayane chaiva malamootravisarjane.<br />
Tulasi dhãryte chet vishñudrohi sa ucchyate.)<br />
According to the views expressed by some<br />
sages in the ‘Padma Puranam’, it is said that the<br />
Tulasi Rosary must be worn around the neck only<br />
while doing worship, i.e, puja, meditation i.e<br />
Dhyana etc, as otherwise such rituals do not yield<br />
success or the desired results.<br />
It is therefore very essential to wear the rosary<br />
at the the time of worship or meditation.<br />
However a view is also expressed in Padma<br />
Puranam, that one who wears tulasi rosary, while<br />
going to bed, or during the movement of bowels
