At <strong>Quality</strong> <strong>Chain</strong> <strong>Canada</strong> it is our mission to ship you the correct product for your machine<br />

as quickly as possible. When ordering the G.E.T. parts you require, it is important to<br />

have either the part number, or as much of the following information as possible<br />

about the machine and the part in demand.<br />

What type of machine is the part for?<br />

Eg: Excavator or Loader;<br />

Komatsu Excavator (pictured at right);<br />

Case Backhoe<br />

What is the machine’s make & model number?<br />

Eg: Caterpillar, Hyundai, etc. Model numbers are generally<br />

printed in big letters on either side of the machine.<br />

What is the bucket size and manufacturer?<br />

This information is on an ID tag, ofen found on the top<br />

backside of the bucket, near the pin bosses<br />

(pictured at right)<br />

How does the tooth pin onto the adapter?<br />

Eg: Side pin, Top pin, Bolt-on, Crimp-on.<br />

What style of pin is used?<br />

Eg. 1pc Rubber Flex Pin; 2 pc. Pin & Lock<br />

What are the dimensions of the tooth “pocket”?<br />

The tooth pocket is the hollow space of the tooth<br />

where the adapter is inserted then pinned. Much like<br />

a puzzle the two must fit together to work properly.<br />

Important measurements of the pocket are as such;<br />

Inside horizontal WIDTH<br />

Inside vertical HEIGHT<br />

Inside DEPTH<br />

You will see this noted throughout the catalogue as<br />

“Pocket Dimensions: WxHxD”<br />

Other factors to consider include; level of penetraton required for the job<br />

(ie: earth surface your working on... extremely hard to penetrate versus soft<br />

and easily penetrable. See pg 10 & 11 for Tooth profiles & descriptions.<br />
