4 Remove the paper backing from the adhesive strips (e) and tape
the blanket to prevent air flow on the surgical site.
5 If desired, carefully lay the clear head drape loosely over the
patients’s head.
Note: Do not cover the patient's head with clear drape if the
patient is not intubated and ventilated.
6 Continue with Step 4, on page 16, to attach the hose to the blanket.
