SW-2013 Adult Underbody Convective Warming Blanket<br />
1 Place the blanket on the table with the perforated side<br />
facing up (a).<br />
WARNINGS<br />
• Always keep the arms at the patient’s side. Do not allow<br />
the patient’s arms to extend outside the blanket as they<br />
may obstruct airflow through the blanket. Airflow<br />
obstruction may result in insufficient patient warming<br />
and loss of therapy.<br />
2 Position the patient on top of the blanket (b). Place the<br />
patient’s head in the non-inflated head section (c) and<br />
center the body on the blanket.<br />
Note: Do not allow the patient’s arms to extend outside the<br />
blanket (d) as they may obstruct airflow through the<br />
blanket.<br />
3 Select one of the three entry ports. Fold the port, then tear<br />
away the cardboard center in the collar ring (e).<br />
4 Fold the entry port back to open the collar ring and insert<br />
the hose nozzle (f) into the collar ring. Refer to Step 4, on<br />
page 16, for more information.<br />
5 Continue with Step 5, on page 16, to attach the sheet clip.<br />
