<strong>6700</strong> SAMPLERS<br />

To enter a number:<br />

Press the number keys to type the number. Then, press ↵<br />

(Enter). As soon as you press ↵ (Enter), thesamplersavesyour<br />

number and moves to the next screen. In some screens, you<br />

can use the . (Decimal Point) key in a number.<br />

Some screens display the range of acceptable numbers between<br />

parentheses. If you enter a number that is too low or high, the<br />

controller beeps and erases the entry. Type a new number and<br />

continue.<br />

STORED DATA WILL BE LOST<br />

Changes to the data storage interval, module setup, hardware<br />

setup, or selecting a new stored program, make it necessary for<br />

the sampler to reformat its memory. See Memory on page 101.<br />

Reformatting the memory clears any stored data (sample events<br />

and readings recorded during the last running program). As a<br />

precaution, the sampler displays a message (screen d).<br />

Ifyoudonotneedthestoreddata,selectYES. The sampler will<br />

reformat its memory according to your menu selection and<br />

display the new memory capacity.<br />

If you need to collect or view the data, select NO. Thesampler<br />

will ignore your last menu selection(s) and retain the stored data.<br />

ExitprogrammingbypressingtheSTOP key and collect the<br />

data. See Sampling Reports on page 59.<br />
