<strong>6700</strong> SAMPLERS<br />

A flow-through chamber (available from YSI), which will allow<br />

aYSIsondetobecontinuouslywettedeveninstorm<br />

applications, will be supported as follows:<br />

One of the I/O lines can be used to control an external<br />

pump. The external pump is used to refresh the liquid in<br />

the flow-through chamber. If selected for this purpose, the<br />

signal on the I/O line will be high when the sampler<br />

requires YSI sonde readings. The signal will become high a<br />

user enterable time before the readings are taken and<br />

remain high until all readings have been taken.<br />

To conserve power, the reading interval will always be the<br />

data storage interval. (The 30 second rate if a YSI reading<br />

is used in an enable condition will be ignored.) Readings<br />

will be taken continuously if the backlight is on.<br />

Additional codes have been added/modified to support the YSI<br />

parameters when using the serial output option. See also Table<br />

12 on page 99.<br />
