crimson, eventually developing hints<br />

of rich purple. There is a powerful<br />

Old Rose fragrance. It is healthy<br />

with strong, upright stems, forming a<br />

substantial bushy shrub or an<br />

excellent climber. Summer prune to<br />

maintain the height when grown as a<br />

Tess of the d’Urbervilles ❀<br />

Bright crimson, deeply cupped<br />

blooms, with the outer petals<br />

eventually reflexing back. These have<br />

a lovely Old Rose fragrance. The<br />

growth is vigorous, forming a<br />

rounded shrub which will benefit<br />

from summer pruning. It may also<br />

be grown as a lovely short climbing<br />

rose.<br />
