multiend reeling unit
Three bacteria viz., Bacillus thuringiensis, Aromonas
salmonicida and Streptococcus bombycis were
identified
Identified the physiological parameters for drought
resistance and it can be utilized as selection
parameters for screening the germplasm/progeny
for evolving drought resistance genotypes
Based on biochemical indicators identified 5
tolerant and 5 susceptible mulberry genotypes for
developing root rot resistance varieties.
Synthesized silver nano particles of 10 to15 nano
meters applied on silk substrate and results are
encouraging. The project was done to understand
the application of nano particles on silk textiles.
Populalization of technology is under progress.
Some of the reelers installed solar water heating
system in Multiend reeling units.
