empty corridors, a cry of mortal anguish.
Startled from the paralyzed condition
into which I had fallen, I flew along the
halls, followed closely by the affrighted
Aldeth, the song of the Angels resounding
in memory--
"Weep--for the Moon’s soft ray
Paleth ere morn."
