It is our pleasure to present our new catalogue for 2010. In these challenging economic times, there is still
reason to rejoice: on October 11, 2009, the Holy Father canonized Father Damien of Molokai (Hawaii), the
greatest Belgian of all time. On June 19, 2009, Benedict XVI proclaimed a “Year for Priests”, which we celebrate
with new printed banners and embroidered vestments (see back cover).
Furthermore, we present our new website, www.slabbinck.com, with an improved layout and the possibility for
online payments, to streamline your ordering experience.
Slabbinck is now more than 106 years young, providing liturgical craftsmanship at the service of the church since
1903. We are still a family business, where the third and fourth Slabbinck generations are in charge. We also still
operate in Bruges, where our offices and workshops are located.
We hope that many of you have visited our beautiful city of Bruges, or plan to do so in the near future. Bruges is
recognized as a World Heritage City by UNESCO and as a Top 25 Destination in Europe by Tripadvisor.com.
