Creations <strong>in</strong> maple<br />
Maple is a light coloured hardwood, an excellent<br />
choice for our stunn<strong>in</strong>g altar vessels and appo<strong>in</strong>tments. In<br />
its natural state, this ivory coloured wood is accented<br />
with random dark whorls, surrounded by darker l<strong>in</strong>es,<br />
which enhance the personality of these pieces that are<br />
manufactured <strong>in</strong> a “turned” technique. Over time the light<br />
cream colour will age to a pale golden brown. Although<br />
unsta<strong>in</strong>ed, the wood, after a lengthy dry<strong>in</strong>g period,<br />
is f<strong>in</strong>ished with a clear varnish to prevent damage or<br />
discoloration caused by handl<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
