South Leeward Dwarf Geckos (Sphaerodactylus fantasticus) are Lesser Antillean<br />

endemics, but the subspecies S. f. fuga is endemic to Dom<strong>in</strong>ica. These small<br />

diurnal geckos are sexually dimorphic. Males have a dark head with light spots,<br />

whereas heads of females have two light stripes that extend onto the body.<br />
