This is one of the younger attendees at the Extreme Green Reptile Show <strong>in</strong> San Jose, California, on 9–10 August 2008. The IRCF secured 25 new members. The show was manned by Sandy B<strong>in</strong>ns, Mike Kern, and John B<strong>in</strong>ns. The IRCF booth at the San Diego Reptile Super Show, 28–29 June 2008. He jo<strong>in</strong>ed the International Iguana Society <strong>in</strong> March 1992 to learn more about his newly acquired Green Iguana. Mike and his wife offered to redesign Iguana Times, and to take over layout, design, and pr<strong>in</strong>t coord<strong>in</strong>ation. Over the years, they also contributed editorial, advertis<strong>in</strong>g, and promotional assistance. Mike sat on the IIS Board of Directors and helped br<strong>in</strong>g the IIS <strong>in</strong>to the computer age by convert<strong>in</strong>g the orig<strong>in</strong>al paper membership list <strong>in</strong>to a database and mail<strong>in</strong>g list, and by build<strong>in</strong>g the orig<strong>in</strong>al IIS website. He has worked for the American College of Physicians <strong>in</strong> Philadelphia for over 16 years as a Graphic Designer and Technical Adm<strong>in</strong>istrator, and lives <strong>in</strong> southern New Jersey with his wife, Janet, and their 14-year-old daughter, Olivia. Besides an obsession with Mac<strong>in</strong>tosh computers, classic films, and rock concerts, Mike enjoys shar<strong>in</strong>g his home-brewed beer with friends and family.
