20.5 +iSSL — Secure Socket Connection Handshake<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>SSL:<br />

Secure Socket Protocol<br />

Negotiates a secure SSL3/TLS1 connection over an open<br />

TCP/IP socket.<br />

Parameters: = A previously open TCP/IP socket handle.<br />

Command Options:<br />

Result Code:<br />

Must be obtained using the <strong>AT+i</strong>STCP command during the<br />

current Internet mode session. Or a socket accepted by a<br />

listening socket.<br />

When a Network Time Server is defined and NTOD is set to<br />

1, iChip confirms the server‘s certificate date validity using<br />

the retrieved network time. If, for some reason, the network<br />

time is not retrieved successfully, iChip does not accept the<br />

certificate until the time is retrieved successfully.<br />

I/OK If the SSL3/TLS1 negotiation is successful.<br />

I/ERROR Otherwise
