33.11.5 +iWLKn — Wireless LAN WEP Key Array<br />

Nonvolatile Parameter Database<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>WLKn=keyString Permanently sets the Wireless LAN WEP keys in<br />

the 4-slot WEP key array.<br />

Parameters: n = 1..4.<br />

keyString = WEP key string represented by a<br />

Hexadecimal ASCII string.<br />

Command Options:<br />

keyString='' Empty: No WEP key defined in position n.<br />

keyString= key will be used as the key string value in<br />

position n. The identical value must be<br />

configured in the same position in the AP router.<br />

key must be a Hexadecimal representation string, where each byte<br />

is described by 2 ASCII characters in the range [‗0‘..‘9‘],<br />

[‗A‘..‘F‘] or [‗a‘..‘f‘].<br />

When using 64-bit WEP (WLWM=1), key may contain up to 10<br />

characters (defining 5 bytes). When using 128-bit WEP<br />

(WLWM=2), key may contain up to 26 characters (defining 13<br />

bytes).<br />

Default: Empty. No WEP key defined.<br />

Result code:<br />

I/OK if keyString is an empty or legal WEP key string.<br />

I/ERROR otherwise<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>WLKn~keyString Temporarily set WEP key n to keyString. The<br />

permanent value will be restored after completing<br />

the next session, both if the session was successful<br />

or not.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>WLKn? Report the current WEP key value in position n.<br />

The reported value will consist of '*' characters.<br />

The number of '*' characters shall reflect the<br />

number of characters in the actual key string. If the<br />

key string is empty, only will be returned.<br />

The reply is followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>WLKn=? Returns the message ‗String‘.<br />

The reply is followed by I/OK.
