33.5.14 +iPDSn — Define PING Destination Server<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>PDSn=Server Permanently sets the PING destination server name or<br />

IP.<br />

Use n=1 to define the primary destination server.<br />

Use n=2 to define the secondary destination server.<br />

Parameters: n = 1..2<br />

Server = A network server name or IP address.<br />

Command Options:<br />

Server=‘‘ Empty. No PING destination Server defined.<br />

Server= The server name or IP address, nps, will be<br />

PING‘ed in order to verify iChip‘s online status,<br />

when iChip is in ―Always Online‖ mode. If the<br />

primary server does not respond, iChip will try the<br />

secondary server (if it exists). When both servers<br />

do not respond to PING requests, iChip will retry<br />

to establish the connection by going offline and<br />

then online again.<br />

Default: Empty. No PING destination Servers defined.<br />

Result code:<br />

I/OK<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>PDSn~Server Temporarily set the PING destination server to<br />

value Server. The permanent value will be restored<br />

after completing the next session, whether the<br />

session was successful or not.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>PDSn? Report the current value of PDSn. If PDSn is empty,<br />

an empty line containing only will be<br />

returned.<br />

The reply is followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>PDSn=? Returns the message ‗String / IP Addr.‘.<br />
