33.5.6 +iSMP — Define SMTP Login Password<br />

Nonvolatile Parameter Database<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>SMP=pass ..... Permanently sets authenticated SMTP login password.<br />

Parameters: pass = Password to be used when logging on to an<br />

SMTP server that requires authentication.<br />

Command Options:<br />

pass='' Empty: No SMTP authentication password<br />

defined.<br />

pass= password will be used to login to an<br />

authenticated SMTP server.<br />

Default: Empty. No password defined.<br />

Result code:<br />

I/OK If password is an empty or a legal SMTP login<br />

password.<br />

I/ERROR Otherwise.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>SMP~pass Temporarily set the SMTP login password to pass.<br />

The permanent value will be restored after<br />

completing the next session, whether the session<br />

was successful or not.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>SMP? Report the current SMTP login password. The<br />

reported value will consist of '*' characters. The<br />

number of '*' characters shall reflect the number of<br />

characters in the actual password. If a password<br />

does not exist, only will be returned.<br />

The reply is followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>SMP=? Returns the message ‗String‘.<br />

The reply is followed by I/OK.
