33.5.5 +iSMU — Define SMTP Login User Name<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>SMU=user Permanently sets Authenticated SMTP login User<br />

Name.<br />

Parameters: user = User Name to be used when logging on to<br />

an SMTP server that requires authentication (if<br />

SMA is set to a non zero value).<br />

Command Options:<br />

user='' Empty: No SMTP authentication User Name<br />

defined.<br />

user= user-name will be used to login to an<br />

authenticated SMTP server.<br />

Default: Empty. No User Name defined.<br />

Result code:<br />

I/OK If user is an empty or a legal SMTP login name.<br />

I/ERROR Otherwise<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>SMU~user Temporarily set the SMTP login User Name to<br />

user. The permanent value will be restored after<br />

completing the next session, whether the session<br />

was successful or not.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>SMU? Report the current SMTP login User Name. If the<br />

User Name does not exist, only will be<br />

returned. The reply is followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>SMU=? Returns the message ‗String‘.<br />

The reply is followed by I/OK.
