33.3.15 +iCPF — Active Communications Platform<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>CPF=n<br />

Parameters: n=0..1<br />

Command Options:<br />

Nonvolatile Parameter Database<br />

Sets the active communications platform to either modem<br />

or LAN.<br />

n=0 Sets active communications platform to dial-up or cellular<br />

modem.<br />

n=1 Sets active communications platform to LAN.<br />

Default: n=1 (LAN)<br />

Result Code:<br />

Note: This default value is shipped from the factory. The<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>FD command does not restore CPF to this value.<br />

I/OK If n is within limits and the communications platform was<br />

actually changed.<br />

I/ERROR Otherwise<br />

Followed by:<br />

I/DONE After changing the current platform to modem. Allow a<br />

2.5 sec. delay for iChip re-initialization.<br />

-or-<br />

I/ONLINE After changing the current platform to LAN.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>CPF~n Temporarily sets the active communications platform to n<br />

for one session. The permanent value will be restored after<br />

completing the next session, both if the session was<br />

successful or not. Note that I/ONLINE or I/DONE will<br />

be returned according to the new permanent<br />

communications platform.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>CPF? Reports the currently active communications platform<br />

followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>CPF=? Returns the message ―0-1‖ followed by I/OK.
