33.3.3 +iMIS — Modem Initialization String<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>MIS=str[;str…]<br />

Sets the Modem Initialization String.<br />

Parameters: str=Modem initialization string<br />

Command<br />

Options:<br />

Nonvolatile Parameter Database<br />

str=” Empty: No modem initialization string defined.<br />

str= string will be used as the modem initialization string. If<br />

string contains special characters, such as quotation marks<br />

(‗ or ―), these may be included in string by prefixing each<br />

special character with a backslash (‗\‘). For example:<br />

―AT+CGDCONT,\‖IP\‖,\‖INTERNET\‖‖. string must<br />

include the AT prefix and the modem reply is expected to<br />

include ‗OK‘. MIS may include several consecutive<br />

modem commands separated by a semicolon. Each<br />

command must begin with ‗AT‘ and its modem reply must<br />

include ‗OK‘. iChip will send each ‗AT‘ command<br />

separately, followed by and wait for the ‗OK‘ before<br />

proceeding.<br />

Default: ‗AT&FE0V1X4Q0&D2M1L3‘<br />

Result Code:<br />

Note: This default value is shipped from the factory. The<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>FD command does not restore MIS to this value.<br />

I/OK If str is an empty or a legal string<br />

I/ERROR Otherwise<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>MIS~<br />

str[;str…]<br />

Temporarily sets the modem initialization string to<br />

str[;str…]. The permanent value will be restored after<br />

completing the next session, both if the session was<br />

successful or not.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>MIS? Reports the current modem initialization string. If the<br />

modem initialization string is empty, only will be<br />

returned. The reply is followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>MIS=? Returns the message ‗String‘ followed by I/OK.
