33.3.2 +iDMD — Modem Dial Mode<br />

Syntax: <strong>AT+i</strong>DMD=n<br />

Parameters: n=0..2<br />

Command<br />

Options:<br />

Nonvolatile Parameter Database<br />

Permanently sets the modem dial mode to Tone, Pulse or<br />

none. This parameter defines the dial character m used<br />

when issuing the ATDm dial command to the modem.<br />

n=0 Use Tone dialing (m=T)<br />

n=1 Use Pulse dialing (m=P)<br />

n=2 Use modem‘s default dialing (m=‘‘)<br />

Default: 0 (Tone Dialing)<br />

Result Code:<br />

I/OK If n is within limits<br />

I/ERROR Otherwise<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>DMD~n Temporarily sets the modem dial mode for one session.<br />

The permanent value will be restored after completing the<br />

next session, both if the session was successful or not.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>DMD? Reports the current modem dial mode used when dialing<br />

the ISP. The reply is followed by I/OK.<br />

<strong>AT+i</strong>DMD=? Returns the message ―0-2‖. The reply is followed by<br />

I/OK.
