MEETING OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS.<br />
AFTERNOON SESSION.<br />
Board met pursuant to adjournment, Hon. J. W. Grim in thee<br />
chair.<br />
On motion, Hon. J. W. Nesmith was chosen to deliver the<br />
Annual Address.<br />
On motion, Rev. G. H. Atkinson was chosen to deliver the<br />
Occasional Address, pertaining to the immigr<strong>at</strong>ion of 1848.<br />
Rev. John S. Griffin was chosen Chaplain.<br />
Hon. Al. Zieber was elected Chief Marshal.<br />
Geo. W. Ebbert, of Hilisboro, Joseph Holman, of Salem, and<br />
Ben. Cornelius, of Forest Grove, were chosen Standard Bearers.<br />
On motion, adjourned until 7 o'clock, p M.<br />
EVENING SESSION.<br />
)3oard met pursuant to adjournment.<br />
President Crawford who arrived on the evening train, presiding.<br />
Subject of loc<strong>at</strong>ing the next Annual Re-Union was taken up,<br />
and on motion of Mr. W<strong>at</strong>t, it was decided to hold the same <strong>at</strong><br />
Portland, <strong>Oregon</strong>, on Tuesday, June 15, i88o, and th<strong>at</strong> the proposition<br />
made by the citizens of th<strong>at</strong> city be accepted.<br />
On motion, M. Crawford, F. X. M<strong>at</strong>hieu and Joseph W<strong>at</strong>t<br />
were appointed Committee on Printing.<br />
On motion, x,000 copies of the Associ<strong>at</strong>ion's Transactions for<br />
- 1879 were prdered printed.<br />
On motior, the price of ball ticket to Pioneer ball, was placed<br />
<strong>at</strong> $2.00 not including supper.<br />
On motion, the Committee on Printing were authorized to re-<br />
Leive bids for printing the Transactions.
