The GTP-32 GPI Tally Processor is
a powerful, compact, and
multitasking GPI tally processor,
router, distributor, and combiner.
The GTP-32 provides an interface
between dissimilar equipment,
offers long-or short-distance
GPI/GPO transport, acts as an
alternative to running multiconductor cables, provides complex signal
processing/conditioning, and provides GPI and tally routing. Simple to setup and
use, configure it from any PC using a Web browser-friendly configuration tool.
Safely Interface Dissimilar Equipment
Use the GTP-32 GPI Tally Processor to replace custom one-offs, typically handmade
logic or level adapters with an off-the-shelf product. The GTP-32 offers a
1-RU rack-mountable housing with 32 two-wire optically isolated inputs and 32
two-wire contact closure outputs to ensure fast, safe connections.
GPI/GPO Transporter – Across The Room Or Around The Globe
Easily transport GPIs and GPOs over an Ethernet connection — LAN, WAN, VPN
and Internet infrastructure — to distribute them within a facility, between
buildings, across the city, or around the world. Use an off-the-shelf browser to
access the GTP-32’s internal Web server to map any GPI to any GPO to meet the
demands of your application.
An Alternative To Running Multiconductor Cables
With the GTP-32, you can say goodbye to problems with full cable troughs, and
intermittent GPI & tally signals due to distance and loading. Simply connect your
GTP-32s to an ethernet link to send GPIs and tallies across your facility, across
country, or around the world over a WAN, VPN, or the Internet.
Complex Signal Processing/Conditioning
Gone is the need for one-off, custom-made black boxes with logic conditioning
or combining circuits. Using a Web browser, configure each GTP-32 input as
active high or active low, latching, or momentary. Using the GTP-32’s
Combinatorial Logic Option, monitor multiple inputs and generate an output
based upon user-entered conditions. Put your soldering iron away and change
input or output configurations and signal conditioning by simply editing a table.
GPI Tally Router
Delegate GPIs and tallies to control rooms, studios, venues, or stages as needed.
Map GPIs and tallies to any local or remote destination. In a shared studio facility,
delegate camera tallies between multiple control rooms. Change GPI and tally
routing by simply creating a new map or recall an existing map.
Fast GPI and Tally processing
The GTP-32 is designed for speed, to minimize delays from received GPI to
controlled GPO. Upon receipt of a single GPI, the associated GPO is turned on or
off in approximately 30 milliseconds. Four simultaneously received GPIs are
processed in a total of 80 milliseconds. Thirty-two (32) simultaneously received
GPIs are processed in a total of 600 milliseconds.
