The <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong> <strong>GPI</strong> <strong>Tally</strong> <strong>Processor</strong> is<br />
a powerful, compact, and<br />
multitasking <strong>GPI</strong> tally processor,<br />
router, distributor, and combiner.<br />
The <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong> provides an interface<br />
between dissimilar equipment,<br />
offers long-or short-distance<br />
<strong>GPI</strong>/GPO transport, acts as an<br />
alternative to running multiconductor cables, provides complex signal<br />
processing/conditioning, and provides <strong>GPI</strong> and tally routing. Simple to setup and<br />
use, configure it from any PC using a Web browser-friendly configuration tool.<br />
Safely Interface Dissimilar Equipment<br />
Use the <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong> <strong>GPI</strong> <strong>Tally</strong> <strong>Processor</strong> to replace custom one-offs, typically handmade<br />
logic or level adapters with an off-the-shelf product. The <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong> offers a<br />
1-RU rack-mountable housing with <strong>32</strong> two-wire optically isolated inputs and <strong>32</strong><br />
two-wire contact closure outputs to ensure fast, safe connections.<br />
<strong>GPI</strong>/GPO Transporter – Across The Room Or Around The Globe<br />
Easily transport <strong>GPI</strong>s and GPOs over an Ethernet connection — LAN, WAN, VPN<br />
and Internet infrastructure — to distribute them within a facility, between<br />
buildings, across the city, or around the world. Use an off-the-shelf browser to<br />
access the <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong>’s internal Web server to map any <strong>GPI</strong> to any GPO to meet the<br />
demands of your application.<br />
An Alternative To Running Multiconductor Cables<br />
With the <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong>, you can say goodbye to problems with full cable troughs, and<br />
intermittent <strong>GPI</strong> & tally signals due to distance and loading. Simply connect your<br />
<strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong>s to an ethernet link to send <strong>GPI</strong>s and tallies across your facility, across<br />
country, or around the world over a WAN, VPN, or the Internet.<br />
Complex Signal Processing/Conditioning<br />
Gone is the need for one-off, custom-made black boxes with logic conditioning<br />
or combining circuits. Using a Web browser, configure each <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong> input as<br />
active high or active low, latching, or momentary. Using the <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong>’s<br />
Combinatorial Logic Option, monitor multiple inputs and generate an output<br />
based upon user-entered conditions. Put your soldering iron away and change<br />
input or output configurations and signal conditioning by simply editing a table.<br />
<strong>GPI</strong> <strong>Tally</strong> Router<br />
Delegate <strong>GPI</strong>s and tallies to control rooms, studios, venues, or stages as needed.<br />
Map <strong>GPI</strong>s and tallies to any local or remote destination. In a shared studio facility,<br />
delegate camera tallies between multiple control rooms. Change <strong>GPI</strong> and tally<br />
routing by simply creating a new map or recall an existing map.<br />
Fast <strong>GPI</strong> and <strong>Tally</strong> processing<br />
The <strong>GTP</strong>-<strong>32</strong> is designed for speed, to minimize delays from received <strong>GPI</strong> to<br />
controlled GPO. Upon receipt of a single <strong>GPI</strong>, the associated GPO is turned on or<br />
off in approximately 30 milliseconds. Four simultaneously received <strong>GPI</strong>s are<br />
processed in a total of 80 milliseconds. Thirty-two (<strong>32</strong>) simultaneously received<br />
<strong>GPI</strong>s are processed in a total of 600 milliseconds.<br />
