MASSEY-HARRIS 1-PLOW PONY
Ideal Power for faster farming on small acreage
* You farm faster, easier . . . more
economically with the Massey-
Harris Pony. You bring real power
performance to your farm . . .
dollars and cents savings in time
and cost of operation over horsedrawn
or hand-operated tools. And
it means greater freedom and independence
for you in the bargain.
There's lively, husky power in
the Pony's 4-cylinder, 62-cubic-inch
engine that lets you move right
along at 2 3/4 or 3 3/4 m.p.h. with
a 14-inch plow. A high of 7 miles
per hour makes short work of hauling
to and from fields.
Clean styling gives plenty of
vision for cultivating. Controls are
handy for fast operation. Autotype
dash has easy-to-read dials.
Band-type brakes on the final drive
are individually operated for easier
turning at the row ends.
You'll like the custom-designed,
companion tools for the Pony. A
complete line-up of equipment to
breeze through plowing, discing,
planting, cultivating, mowing. And
all are built sturdy, flexible . . . easy
to put on—easy to take off.
More important, the Pony is a
versatile performer. No matter
where you put it to work—on small
farms, big farms, golf courses,
estates, parks, around factories,
market gardens, airports—wherever
1-plow power will do the job, you
get the dependability of Massey-
Harris construction . . . the moneysavings
of Massey-Harris design.
ADJUSTABLE TREAD
Front and rear treads on the Pony have
ample adjustment to meet different row
crop widths. Both can be adjusted in 4.
inch steps from 41 inches to a maximum
of 69 inches. The telescoping front axle is
used with all of the Pony's mounted tools.
Brakes can be locked together for road use.
