Enclosed Drive-Oil Bath Lubrication
Two Caster Wheels-Better Balance.
The assey-Harris No. 8 handles your hay gently .. .
delivers it to the wagon without damage or leaf loss. With
balanced 3-throw crankshaft, hay moves in a steady, even
flow to the wagon. As one set of cylinder teeth picks up the
load, 2 of the rake-bars carry it on up the deck. There's no
jerking . . . stalks and leaves are protected against threshing
. . . delivery to the rack is gentle. Greater capacity and
faster working speeds result. Individually suspended rake
bars are free to raise as much as 4 inches to avoid crushing
the hay in heavy or uneven windrows. Each bar is free to
adapt itself to its load.
For loading green hay or forage crops there's the No. 8
Heavy Crop Loader . . . built huskier, stronger. Heavy flat
rake teeth in the No. 8 HC get a firm hold on material—
prevent clogging . . . handle increased weight and bulk.
You'll find the No. 8 HC especially efficient for loading peas
and beans. Extension deck available on special order. [ 33 ]
