SPECIAL EQUIPMENT FOR RICE HARVESTING WITH THE Super "26" and "27" Self-Propelleds <strong>MASSEY</strong> - <strong>HARRIS</strong> No. 4 Power Take-Off Swather cuts a 12-foot swath and lays it in a well-formed windrow . . . easy for your combine to pick up. Excess weight and heavy gearing are eliminated ... the No. 4 is free-running, easy-pulling, requires less power to operate. Handy adjustments and controls adapt the No. 4 to a variety of field and crop conditions. [ 28 ] For moderate field conditions, special deep-lugged tires are available for both the Super "26" and "27." 15-28 and 7.50-18 for the "26"-18-26 and 7.50-18 for the Super "27." The regular auger for the Super Series combines has disappearing fingers .. . ideal for getting down and tangled grain . . . extremely practical for rice harvesting Pick-up attachment is special order. Tracks are the real answer to the extremely muddy conditions of the rice fields. Specially designed for the combine use, the tracks for the Super "26" and "27" are mounted on tough, reinforced axles. They have ample clearance and flexibility to ride over ditches and levees without disturbing the balance of the combine. The track mechanism is built extra strong and shielded from mud and grit. Tracks are 16 inches wide and have a ground con- tact of approximately 54 inches. Each tread section has individual turning brakes. Tread plates are drilled for exten- sions if desired. GRAIN-SAVING SWATHERS No. 5 Power Take-Off Swather is an ideal working partner for large combines. It cuts a big 16-foot swath . . . covers more acres faster.
