ROOF RACK IMPORTANT NOTES<br />
A. Factory installed luggage rack will limit available load bar spacing.<br />
See Talon <strong>Fit</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> for possible mounting to factory rack.<br />
B. Factory installed luggage rack will prohibit use of roof rack.<br />

C. If your vehicle has a convertible top, glass top or T-top, roof rack is<br />
prohibited.<br />
D. If your vehicle has a vinyl or cloth covered roof, use of roof rack is<br />
prohibited. Partial vinyl or cloth roofs may limit available load bar<br />
spacing.<br />
E. Rear hatch must not be opened with accessories mounted to roof<br />
rack.<br />
F. Removal of factory installed luggage rack with a screwdriver or torx<br />
driver will allow use of roof rack. See Talon <strong>Fit</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> for possible<br />
mounting to factory rack.<br />
1. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar<br />
over rear doors.<br />
2. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar<br />
over rear windows.<br />
3. Place both load bars over front doors only.<br />
4. Place load bars anywhere along roof line at desired<br />
separation.<br />
5. If applicable, place load bars in front of factory installed<br />
luggage rack or vinyl/cloth top.<br />
6. Place front load bar directly behind luggage rack front cross<br />
bar. Place rear load bar directly in front of rear cross bar.<br />
7. Place front load bar behind roof-mounted antenna with<br />
antenna extended.<br />
8. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar just<br />
behind front doors.<br />
9. Place front load bar over front doors . Place rear load bar<br />
over rear door (passenger’s side) and opposing window<br />
(driver’s side).<br />
10. Front load bar must be placed forward of roof-mounted<br />
antenna to gain full available load bar spacing.<br />
11. Place front load bar over front doors. Place rear load bar<br />
just behind open sliding window (driver’s side) and over<br />
rear of sliding door (passenger’s side). Close window.<br />
12. Locate arrows in trim on front and rear of vehicle.<br />
Place load bars over respective arrows and insert clip<br />
between arrows.<br />
13. Must mount front load bar 9 inches back from windshield.<br />
14. Removal of factory-installed luggage rack with a screw<br />
driver, torx driver or wrench will increase your available load<br />
bar spacing.<br />
15. If applicable, place both load bars in front of factory rack or<br />
place front load bar in front of factory rack and rear load bar<br />
behind factory rack. Without a factory rack, place load bars<br />
anywhere along roof line at desired separation.<br />
16. See specific placement illustration (clip instructions).<br />
17. Use caution when closing door for the first time. If clip is<br />
not seated properly, window will hit clip.<br />
18. Place load bars anywhere along roof line behind front doors<br />
at desired separation.<br />
19. Place front load bar over front doors. Place rear load bar<br />
anywhere behind front doors at desired separation.<br />
20. Place rear load bar 6 inches in front of rear edge of door.<br />

G. This application requires that roof rack be mounted directly to<br />
factory installed luggage rack.<br />
H. Due to vehicle manufacturing variances, use of any attachment clip<br />
may cause water leakage and/ or wind noise. Remove rack when<br />
not in use.<br />
I. Load bar spacings refer to mounting: Both load bars in front of<br />
factory rack or one load bar in front of factory rack and one behind<br />
factory rack.<br />
J. Mounting to this vehicle requires removal and reattachment of<br />
vehicle trim piece. It is recommended that this be done by a<br />
qualified body shop. See clip instruction sheet for details.<br />
K. Use of antenna is prohibited at specified load bar spacing.<br />
L. Talon rack will mount to factory rack(see page 40).<br />
M. Existing factory rack does not interfere with <strong>Saris</strong> load bar<br />
installation.<br />
21. Place front load bar over very front of sliding side door<br />
(passenger’s side) and middle window (driver’s side). Place<br />
rear load bar over rearmost windows.<br />
22. Locate arrows on trim over rear window. Place load bar over<br />
arrows and insert clip between arrows into trim.<br />
23. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar over<br />
top of hatch door.<br />
24. Place front load bar over front doors. Place rear load bar<br />
over sliding side door (passenger’s side) and open middle<br />
window (driver’s side). Close middle window.<br />
25. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar over<br />
center of rear doors.<br />
26. Place both load bars over front doors with rear load bar<br />
located 4 inches in front of rear edge of door.<br />
27. Place both load bars over front doors with rear load bar<br />
located 6 inches in front of rear edge of door.<br />
28. These clips are designed to conform to the non uniform<br />
shape of the door edge. Once attachment clips are used,<br />
place a provided stickers on each front clip. These<br />
clips should always be used on front load bar in future<br />
rack installations.<br />
29. Place rear load bar over rear windows and in front of plastic<br />
spacer which separates the trim from the car body.<br />
30. Metal trim over rear window has an indent to accept<br />
attachment clip.<br />
31. Place both load bars on factory installed luggage rack. If<br />
applicable, place cross members and/or roof supports of<br />
factory installed luggage rack directly under <strong>Saris</strong> load bars.<br />
32. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar over<br />
middle windows.<br />
33. Must mount front load bar 7 inches back from windshield.<br />
34. Locate exposable slots on top of roof trim piece and choose<br />
necessary loadbar placement as determined by your<br />
accessories. Place clips onto metal lip in slots.<br />
35. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar over<br />
front door(drivers side) and sliding door(passengers side).<br />
36. Place front load bar over front doors and rear load bar over<br />
rear windows, 4” behind front doors.<br />
37. Place front load bar at the middle of rear sliding door<br />
and window on driver’s side. Place rear load bar over<br />
rear windows.<br />
38. Place both load bars over rear doors only.<br />
39. Do not mount rack over the openings in the T-slot.
