(C) Part #3035 Hatch Hugger required to replace lower hooks, or, place lower J-hooks completely inside trunk(details are in instruction manual). (D) Models #1047, #1048, #1057, #1058 fit; model #1059z must have BUMPER BEND. (E) Part #3035 Hatch Hugger required to replace S-Hooks (2 bike / 70 Ib. load limit). (F) Part #2047 Longer S-Hook/J-Hook strap required. (G) Does not fit with spoiler option. (H) Do not adjust top with rack on vehicle. (I) 2 bike, 70lb load limit, rack must be assembled with lower legs in the outermost position “Model” refers to vehicle body style “Year” refers to vehicle model year Body styles and model years on vehicles outside the U.S. and Canada may vary. Available Models: 1045P - 2 Bike 1047P - 3 Bike (1) Use large side of S-Hook/J-Hook vs. small side (see instruction manual). (2) Attach bottom J-hooks to ledge/holes of internal metal bumper or frame under vehicle. (3) Attach bottom Hooks to the tow hooks under each side of the vehicle. (4) Narrow Bumper, use caution when placing foot on bumper. (5) Place Bumper feet into license plate cut out in bumper. (6) Do not put foot on trim of bumper. (7) Bottom leg must sit on top of step bumper. Do not place feet inside license plate cut out. (8) Soft bumper, foot must sit on bumper and butt up against vertical surface of trunk. (9) For Volkswagen Beetles with spoiler option, hatch hugger top straps must be threaded underneath spoiler. (10) Use “lower” hooks on the side of the vehicle and “side” hooks on the lower attachment. (11) 2 Bike, 70 lb. load limit. 3 Bike, 105lb. load limit.
