Coarse and fine precious metal recovery<br />

TheFalconSBConcentratorisbasedonacombinationoftheoriginal,smoothwalledFalcon“BBowl”andthe<br />

fullyfluidizedMacNicolbowlwhichoriginatedinAustraliainthe1930’s.<br />

Thesemachinesareknownas“Semi-Batch”becausetheycontinuallyacceptfeedduringtherun cycle, but<br />

onlyproduceconcentrateduringperiodicrinsecycles. Runtimesrangeanywherefrom5minutestoseveral<br />

hours, depending on the application.<br />

RinsetimesaregenerallylessthanaminuteasFalconusesdynamicbrakestoquicklyslowthebowl down,<br />

rinse out the concentrate, and then return to full operational speed.<br />

TheFalconSBconcentratorsusevariablefrequencydrivesandcanoperateanywherefrom50to 200 G’s.<br />

ThetypicalapplicationforaFalconSBconcentratorisrecoveryofliberatedpreciousmetals(Au,Ag,Pt,etc.)within<br />

highermassyieldtoconcentratewhencomparedwiththeSBmachines. Applicationsinclude<br />

recoveryandupgradeoftin,tantalum,tungsten,chrome,cobalt,iron,fineoxidizedcoaland<br />

manyotherminerals. OftentheFalconCconcentratorisusedtorecovervaluableparticlesthat<br />

aretoofinetoberecoveredbydensemediaseparation,spirals,oranyotherlowGprocess.<br />

Designedforcontinuousduty,thesemachinesareabletoproducemassyieldsashighas<br />
