Introduction<br />
CA BND<br />
<strong>Cape</strong> <strong>Arcona</strong>s legendary obsession to create a DIN like font substitution brings us to CA BND,<br />
named after the German Intelligence Agency. Thomas Schostok created the typeface for the<br />
new Corporate Image of the Intelligence Agency. Well, the presentation wasn’t very success-<br />
ful because there wasn’t any contact person available – everything and everyone is just<br />
TOP SECRET. CA BND has got a dangerous functionalism. It’s unemotional but if you look at<br />
the details you find something emotional that you will learn to love. It’s coming in two styles<br />
with an alternate letterset.<br />
