EasyFlow EasyFlow is a simple-to-use gauging device for users who<br />

occasionally effectuate flow measurements and don’t want to do<br />

a too big investment.<br />

It permits to realize in few minutes the measurement of the flow<br />

of a stream thanks to the tracer ddilution<br />

The tracing<br />

The conductivity probe is placed into the watercourse. Upstream, at a sufficient distance to assure a good mix<br />

of the tracer in the water, a known quantity of salt is injected, beforehand diluted in stream water into a<br />

container (about 10 grams per l/s of estimated flow). During the passing of the salt cloud, it records the salinity<br />

values of the water. When this cloud has passed, the flow of the watercourse is calculated and displayed in<br />

litres by seconds.<br />

Software EasyViewer<br />

The software EasyViewer for PC is furnished with the EasyFlow EasyFlow. EasyFlow<br />

It permits the downloading of measurement<br />

data, then the visualisation and the processing of the gauging curve. Additional information as the limnimetric<br />

height can be also saved with data in file.<br />

To verify the efficiency of the gauging, the recorded data in the EasyFlow EasyFlow can be uploaded into a PC. Then it is<br />

possible to visualise these data graphically. Some tools are available to recalculate the flow measurement by<br />

changing parameters or to print the result and the curve as presented below.<br />
