We import, retail and wholesale premium quality fireworks. We also run a 

professional firework display team so we can provide you with the complete 

service. We love fireworks, and have sold them for over 20 years! We are open 

all year round, we always have stock and we offer you an unrivalled service, be 

it over the phone, in our Leeds showroom or on the internet. We are respected 

members of The British Firework Association and The CBI Explosives Industry 

Group, the two main organisations for firework importers and retailers in the 

UK. We run a nationwide delivery service for a flat rate of £20 or you can buy 

our full range in our massive Leeds showroom – please see the back page.

All the fireworks in this catalogue 

are for sale to the general public 

and can be let off all year round. All 

our fireworks are tested to British 

Standard BS7114 Part 2:1988 or 

the European equivalent. The law 

requires you to finish your fireworks 

by midnight on bonfire night, 1am 

on New Years Eve, Chinese New 

Year & Diwali and 11pm the rest of 

the year. You must be over 18 years 

of age to buy or possess fireworks.

Delivery and Collection All orders for delivery to mainland UK are subject to a £20 delivery 

contribution. If you live somewhere more remote please contact us first for a delivery price. When you order 

your fireworks we will want to know the date of your show so we can deliver your fireworks at the right time. 

We cannot guarantee a specific date so we will require an alternative delivery place in case you aren’t home 

– this can be a neighbour, the shed, under the caravan or in the old WW2 bunker at the end of the garden! If 

we have to redeliver to you there is a charge of £35 plus VAT so this information is vital! If you would prefer to 

collect your fireworks, our Leeds showroom is open all year round. Don’t worry about city centre parking as 

we have a huge free private car park! We carry our full range at the showroom but we always advise you call in 

advance as some orders take a while to pack, such as the Display Kits and Party Packs. If you have pre ordered 

your fireworks we will need 48 hours notice prior to collection as your order will be stored at our ex WW2 

explosives stores in North Yorkshire. This is vital during October, November and December. If you need more 

information, please give us a call. 

Showroom & Offices Our huge showroom in Leeds carries 

our full range and is open all year round. Videos of all our fireworks 

can be viewed in store and expert advice is always available. We are 

in a small gated trading estate and have enough free parking for 50 

cars! We are open at least 5 days a week (including Saturday) and we 

open 7 days a week in peak season. Come and see us, you will not be

Chariots of Fire 

The biggest firework we sell and an awesome finale piece. 

Firing super fast from side to side, red to crackle then a thick 

wave of blue to pink to red to purple. A volley of crackles to 

comets precedes a hit of blue tailed reports which break to 

massive blinking coconuts. The pre finale will make you gasp

An absolute favourite every year, this big single ignition cake

Flutterby Invasion 

One of the most unusual effects to come out of China in recent 

years, and a winner with out customers. Firing 60 slow rising 

blue tails, bursting to long lasting silver butterflies which then 

come to life and spin up before slowly frittering downward 

in a mist of silver and blue stars. 40 shots one after another, 

speeding up to the two finale swarms of 10 shots each. Very,

You wanted noise, so here it is! Each cake contains 50 big 

flashing thunders. 10 wide angled volleys of 5 streaking gold 

tails are fired together erupting with a mighty noise. Packed 

together in a steel mesh outer cage to meet new regulations.

Rampage 

Another new addition this year, Rampage is as it sounds – 

wild! Superb display with a great variety of both colours and

Types of fireworks 

A Guide to safety at your display 

Rockets Should be used from a rocket launching tube angled slightly away from the spectators and any obstructions. 

Make sure the rocket is free to rise. 

Cakes & Barrages Large multi tubed fireworks that are round or square and look like a xmas cake. Each tube fires a single shot 

allowing a huge variety of effects, can have up to 1000 individual tubes. Insert in soft ground or secure to a 

stake, which has been sunk into the ground. Make sure that the firework cannot fall over, and that there are no 

overhanging trees or cables obscuring the path of the firework. 

Ground Mines Ground mines do not require a separate mortar, they are supplied preloaded and when lit start with a small 

fountain before bursting into colour. 

Roman Candles Batteries of candles must be tied or nailed to a post or buried for 3/4 of their length in a bucket of dry sand. 

They discharge stars and other types of effects. Normally they are in batteries of three, four, six or seven. 

Set Pieces There are two main types of Set Pieces, the first being stationary, combining geometric designs of fountains, 

and the second consisting of moving pieces eg. wheels, turning vertically or horizontally. They should be 

fixed to a frame or post, the higher the better, as they cascade to the ground. 

Portfires These are used to ignite fireworks. 

Organising the display 

Early preparation is important and it is advisable to set up a small committee with each member having a defined role. The Fire Brigade and 

Police, and for sites near the coast, the Coast Guard, should all be informed of your display well in advance. Fire extinguishers, buckets 

of sand and buckets of water should be available on the night, with marshals trained to use them. Bonfires should be a safe distance 

downwind of the firework area and must be supervised at all times. Never use inflammables to start the fire and under no circumstances 

dispose of used or unused fireworks on the bonfire. 

Firing the Display 

The order in which the fireworks are used is very important if the audience is to get the maximum enjoyment from the display. It is a good idea 

to start the display with a volley of noise to get the attention of the crowd. Follow this with rockets, a set piece, a sequence of candles mines 

or cakes with loud noise and reports. Repeat this sequence to suit. The finale should be an impressive combination of noise and colour. This 

is only a suggested firing order and by no means rigid. Remember to keep the display moving, so the visual impact is not lost. Always light 

fireworks at arms length, and under no circumstances lean over a firework. Never go back to a firework if it fails to ignite. 

Bad Weather 

If there is a wind, make sure the fireworks are downhill from the audience. Fire the fireworks in such a way that the sparks from the burning 

debris falls in the place where fireworks have already been fired. Rockets will always turn into the direction of the prevailing wind. 

If it is wet do not set out fireworks unnecessarily early. Provide a good supply of plastic bags, bin liners and cling film, all of which can be 

used on most fireworks to great effect against the water. 

Safety Rules 

•Never smoke when handling fireworks. 

• Unpack the fireworks in a safe place away from open fires and inflammable 

materials. 

• Make sure that the fireworks are all separated from the packing materials. 

•Remember that fireworks are fragile. 

•Always keep fireworks covered. 

• When out of doors, the firework box should be covered by tarpaulin or other 

spark proof material as a spark could ignite the entire contents. 

• Always light fireworks with a portfire attached to a stick and held at arms 

length. 

• When firing a display always wear protective overalls, goggles, hat and gloves. 

Beware hot effects falling into gaping pockets, wellington boots etc. 

• Never walk or lean across the top of any firework. Treat them as you would a 

loaded gun muzzle. 

•Always soak unignited fireworks in water for 24 hours before disposal. 

•Never put used or unused fireworks on a bonfire. 

•Have your display before 11pm, except of course, New Years Eve.
