landscaping. Our in-house research and development centre
enables us to design, manufacture, test and continually

produce sustainable systems. We have already completed
a number of developments in this area in recent years. Our
ultimate goal is to produce systems in which all the components
can be reused or disposed of in an eco-friendly
way. Together with our partners, we will continue to work
on meeting these goals!
Playgrass® by Edel Grass
Edel Grass and KSP are introducing a unique playground concept on to the market. Playgrass® by Edel
Grass is a certified artificial turf construction which meets all the current requirements governing
playing surfaces (NEN-EN 1177). The combination of a colourful artificial turf (Edel Playgrass®) and a
fall-cushioning substrate (KSP) gives each play area a highly attractive appearance.
The law prescribes that all playgrounds must have a fall-cushioning surface beneath structures of
1.50 metres or more. Playgrass® by Edel Grass provides a safe fall-cushioning value for structures of up to
3 metres high. Following the installation of many successful systems in the Netherlands, the Edel Grass
concept is now also available internationally.

Quality and development
Playgrass® by Edel Grass is the result of close cooperation between Edel Grass and KSP.
Thanks to our many years of experience in the market for artificial turf, we can devise a
customised system for every application. Edel Grass artificial turf is made with yarns and
backing manufactured by TenCate. KSP is responsible for the certified fall-cushioning of
the system. The combination of the fall-cushioning and the artificial turf results in this
unique product.
Edel Grass has an international network of carefully selected partners who are responsible
for the laying and maintenance of Playgrass® by Edel Grass. We can thus control the quality
of the system supplied by us from start to finish.

maintenance is vital. Careful maintenance will ensure that the playground retains its fallcushioning
