TECHNICAL DATA SHEET PREMIUM ORGANIC* ALMOND BUTTER * Raw materials certified** by Ecocert Greenlife according to the Ecocert standard for Natural and Organic Cosmetics available at http://cosmetiques.ecocert.com DESCRIPTION PREMIUM ORGANIC ALMOND BUTTER is obtained from organic cold pressed almond oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis Mill.). THE ORGANIC COLD PRESSED ALMOND OIL The organic sweet almond oil is obtained by cold pressing the seed of the Almond (Prunus amygdalus dulcis Mill.), and then is filtered. Sweet almond oil has high oleic acid content. It also contains unsaponifiable matter and tocopherols that give it a high oxidative stability. Sweet almond oil has been used since ancient times for its softening properties and the velvety aspect it gives the skin. It is a good emollient and nourishes the skin. It protects it from drying by rebuilding the skin barrier. It is especially indicated for mature and irritated skins. USE OF THE PREMIUM ORGANIC ALMOND BUTTER PREMIUM ORGANIC ALMOND BUTTER retains a large fraction of the unsaturated fatty acids found in the oil and therefore provides very similar benefits to the skin It has an unctuous and silky feel, spreads easily on the skin, and penetrates quickly, leaving a velvety and soft finish. PREMIUM ORGANIC ALMOND BUTTER shows an extremely faint odor, and therefore will leave the customer free to add any fragrance without interference from the scent. PREMIUM ORGANIC ALMOND BUTTER is a non-genetically modified material that contains no preservative. It has not been tested on animals.
