Description: GoTaq ® qPCR Master Mix is a reagent system for use in<br />

real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR and RT-qPCR). The system contains BRYT<br />

Green ® dye, a proprietary fluorescent DNA binding dye that exhibits greater<br />

fluorescence enhancement upon binding to double-stranded DNA (dsDNA)<br />

than SYBR ® Green I. Combined with the GoTaq ® Hot Start Polymerase,<br />

optimized buffer and proprietary dye, GoTaq ® qPCR Master Mix provides<br />

robust real-time PCR with increased reliability, reproducibility and sensitivity.<br />

GoTaq ® qPCR Master Mix is provided as a premixed, ready-to-use stabilized<br />

2X formulation that includes all components for qPCR.<br />

GoTaq ® 2-Step RT-qPCR System is a reagent system for quantitative<br />

analysis of RNA using a two-step reverse transcription-quantitative PCR<br />

(RT-qPCR) protocol. The components and protocol allow robust, reliable<br />

cDNA synthesis of a full range of rare and abundant transcripts, even in the<br />

presence of inhibitors, using the GoScript Reverse Transcription System<br />

and quantification using the GoTaq ® qPCR Master Mix.<br />

GoTaq ® 1-Step RT-qPCR System is a reagent system for quantitative<br />

analysis of RNA using a one-step reverse transcription-quantitative PCR<br />

(RT-qPCR) protocol in a single tube. The BRYT Green ® Fluorescent Dye<br />

and optimized buffer formulations improve data accuracy and sensitivity of<br />

low-expressing targets or targets present at low amounts.<br />

Advantages of the GoTaq ® Real-Time PCR Systems<br />

The BRYT Green ® Fluorescent Dye provides brighter dsDNA-dependent<br />

fluorescence than SYBR ® Green I. With less PCR inhibition than SYBR ®<br />

Green I, the dye enables efficient amplification, often resulting in earlier<br />

quantification cycle (C q) values and an expanded linear range using the same<br />

filters and settings as SYBR ® Green I. The CXR reference dye can be detected<br />

using the same filters and settings as those used for ROX. GoTaq ® qPCR<br />

Master Mix can be used with any real-time instrument capable of detecting<br />

SYBR ® Green I or FAM dye. GoTaq ® qPCR Master Mix contains a low level<br />

of CXR reference dye. If your real-time thermal cycler requires a high level of<br />

reference dye, add CXR Reference Dye to a final concentration of 1X in the<br />

reactions.<br />

Storage Conditions: Upon arrival, store all components at –20°C, protected<br />

from light. For immediate use, components may be stored at 2–8°C, protected<br />
